After an auto accident you’re sure to have many questions about the whole incident. One of the first things you will think about will be about how to decide which collision repair shop to bring your vehicle to. You will also contact your insurance provider. They may refer you to a collision repair shop or two. Make sure you keep in mind that you are entitled to choose your own repair shop when making an insurance claim.

To ensure a quality auto body repair be sure to bring your wrecked vehicle to a shop that will stand behind their work. By leaving your vehicle with a certified I-Car Gold Class auto body shop you can be sure you’ll see excellent results.

Every year the collision repair industry faces new and improved technologies for vehicles, and this trend shows no sign of slowing down any time soon. Whether it’s new materials, advanced safety systems, new electronics, sensors, or some other innovative upgrade, as new technologies emerge, regular training is more necessary than ever to ensure safe, accurate, quality repairs.

“It’s estimated that only 20% of collision shops meet the standards required in order to be I-Car Gold Class certified. Hollingsworth Auto Service is in that 20%.”

To keep up with the changes in the automotive industry, there are many certifications and training programs available for body shops. Of all of these certifications and classes, I-Car Gold Class is considered to be the ultimate certification.

I-Car is a not-for-profit training organization dedicated to consumer safety within the collision repair industry. Earning a Gold Class certification is difficult. In order to earn I-Car Gold Class certification, shops must achieve and maintain a high level of role-relevant training across each of the major collision repair roles. I-Car Gold Class certification requires ongoing annual training and testing to keep up with the newest makes, models and technologies. Shops that lapse in their training will lose their I-Car Gold Class certification.
